I am now traveling from NY Penn Station to Amherst after speaking at NJ North EMA Vision School last night.  I was compelled to write a prayer for this generation…

A generation that will not be shaken.

Lord would you raise up a generation that will ONLY live to proclaim the gospel to the ends of the earth. So that you may receive all the glory that only you deserve.

Would you raise up a generation that will not look to the left or to the right but only to what is ahead which is your eternal kingdom.

Would you raise up a generation that will not compromise your vision under ANY circumstances.

Would you raise up a generation that will not bow down to the materialism and the physical needs of this world.

Let our lives be full of passion, foolishness, uncertainties AND with complete faith that our lives are in your hands as we obey you.

May the thoughts, minds, lives, and hearts of this generation be completely captivated by your vision and in all that we do let us commit to serving you everyday like there is no tomorrow. Like we don’t live another day.

I’m in Abilene, Texas now preparing for tonight’s VS lecture. I had great prayer time inflight and was able to really express my heart to the Lord and realign myself with His Spirit. I was really thankful… =*)

I was also reminded that this ministry involves great spiritual warfare. I wrote this in my journal today:

“I’m so convinced. The campus generation is the greatest secret weapon of God in these last days. The campus is one of the most significant, if not the most significant social sphere in the world we live in. It’s an institution that makes all of its people contemplate about the rest of their lives. Students ready themselves to commit their lives to a given path. It’s the place where the greatest spiritual warfare is waged. It is waged between the god of this world and the God of the universe. It’s waged for people’s lives and their destinies. So many ideologies are ruling our generation but we are called to demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”

- Could you please pray for me and all the VS speakers? We are all so young and at times we are so fragile. But we are clinging to the Lord and running in faith. Yes there is Grace but we must must must to be covered by the prayers of our intercessors. May His Word be released in power in every Vision School! We just want to be faithful witnesses.

- Could you also pray for the 32 regions/campuses holding Vision School this semester? We’ve declared 2012 to be the year of missions revival on our campuses! We’re contending for campuses all around the Nation to rise up as workers for the unreached campuses of the nations. We’re praying specifically for 300 students to be sent out this year.

- Lastly, please especially pray that the spirit of repentance would hit our campuses. That students would repent of giving their souls to the American dream and that they would set themselves apart to fulfill the destiny that God has given them. “Just as the Father has sent me, I also send you.” This was the voice of our Lord and Savior to His disciples and this is the voice over us. We’ve been called out of this fallen world only to be sent back out into the world as his disciples.

Whether you’re running or praying, we are partnering in the Lord’s work. The Lord is making History through us. It’s so amazing.

Thank you a thousand times
